Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Senior Scheduler to lead and maintain integrated EPC schedules for PV, battery storage and substations. This remote role requires periodic travel to job sites in the South Central and Midwest regions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of EPC scheduling experience, advanced P6 skills, CPM expertise, and the ability to mentor teammates while coordinating with engineering, procurement and field teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years construction scheduling experience.
• Prior Scheduling experience in an EPC environment is required.
• High proficiency with P6 Software.
• Strong ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and processes.
• Solid understanding of CPCM scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to travel to jobsites.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor assigned schedulers, supporting their personal and career development.
• Contribute to training curriculum development for company-wide schedule management.
• Participate in company onboarding to align with project controls objectives.
• Develop and maintain realistic EPC project schedules using P6 software.
• Analyze project documents to form the basis of EPC schedules.
• Perform quantity take-offs to establish accurate activity durations.
• Consult with internal teams for feedback.
• Seek feedback from external stakeholders to enhance schedule accuracy and buy-in.
• Ensure schedules adhere to CPM best practices with sound logic and realistic durations.
• Attend project meetings to gather updates and address schedule issues.
• Update schedules bi-monthly, incorporating actuals and monitoring critical path deviations.
• Propose corrective actions to the project team based on schedule analysis.
• Communicate schedule updates to the project teams and scheduling manager.
• Lead internal and external meetings, analyzing scopes for schedule mitigation.
• Maintain comprehensive delay logs and LD exposure with P6 reports.
• Monitor progress using company software and weekly regional project status reports.
