Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with significant heavy industrial power plant experience to lead complex projects from definition through closeout.

You will create schedules and budgets, manage costs to ensure profitability, prepare client billings, monitor risks and changes, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams; travel is about 10% or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Prepares detailed statements of work and WBS with budgets.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as needed.
• Coordinates and manages technical work across disciplines.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
