Job summary

Matrix Service Co. seeks a Project Manager to lead multiple field projects with moderate risk and complexity, coordinating across craft disciplines to deliver on time and on budget.

You will develop scope, estimates and schedules, and mentor junior PMs while liaising with clients to ensure satisfaction. The role requires a 4-year engineering or construction degree, 8+ years PM/P&L experience, with PMI certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management
• 8+ years job-related experience, PM/P&L preferred; includes 4+ years supervisory experience
• PMI certification preferred
• Strong understanding of construction, design, finance and project management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate effectively
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and core values.
• Represents the company in bids, meetings and client discussions.
• Develops project objectives, policies and performance standards.
• Plans, organizes and staffs field positions through department heads.
• Oversees on-site supervision to ensure design, budget and schedule adherence.
• Provides technical assistance and change order management.
• Manages project profitability and client relations.
