Job summary

Black & Veatch Family of Companies is seeking a Sr EPC Project Director for advanced power generation to lead the largest and most complex EPC projects. You will own safety, quality, cost and schedule, while guiding multi-discipline teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning.

You will staff and supervise project managers, site leaders and EPC teams, coordinating third-party contributors and driving client satisfaction on high-visibility energy infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Relocation eligible and travel >50% of time.
• Hybrid or flexible work options after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Directs the largest, most complex EPC projects or groups of EPC projects, with senior accountability for safe construction execution, quality, client outcomes, schedule, financial performance, commercial risk, and project recovery.
• Provides senior direction to project managers, project directors, construction leaders, and integrated EPC teams across engineering, procurement, construction, startup/commissioning, project controls, commercial, quality, and safety.
• Resolves the highest-risk construction, labor, subcontractor, schedule, cost, commercial, client, and execution issues on major EPC work. Manages multiple clients and/or accountabel for implementing expanded new business objectives.
• Oversees and delivers opportunities for new/repeat business, finalizing key contract negotiations with client executives and project managers.
• Manages broad and varied complex risk profile, including enterprise-level EPC execution, construction productivity, labor strategy, subcontractor performance, site execution, and recovery risk.
