Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an EPC Project Director for Advanced Power Generation to lead large, multi‑discipline projects across engineering, procurement, construction and startup. You will direct safety, quality, cost, and schedule, staffing the project with experienced professionals and coordinating multi‑party teams to deliver complex EPC scopes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Typically 15 years experience in EPC leadership.
• Experience leading large EPC projects and teams.

Responsibilities

• Directs all aspects of large, complex EPC projects with emphasis on safety, quality, cost, schedule.
• Leads integrated EPC project teams across engineering, procurement, construction and startup.
• Directs project managers and construction leaders on priorities and execution strategy.
• Manages multiple clients and is accountable for new business objectives.
• Creates opportunities for new or repeat business and supports complex contract negotiations.
• Manages varied risk including labor, subcontractor performance, schedule recovery and commercial risk.
