Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Senior Manager to lead owner-side EPC procurement and commercial negotiations for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects. This role oversees contractor engagement, RFP development, bid evaluation, award recommendations, and contract negotiations across Development, Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Legal, Finance, and Safety teams.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in procurement, contracts, or project delivery.
• Three or more years in utility-scale renewable energy or related projects.
• Experience leading EPC procurement and complex negotiations.
• Experience developing RFPs and evaluating proposals.
• Strong understanding of EPC contracting and risk allocation.
• Ability to influence decisions across multidisciplinary teams.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement and contracting for EPC services.
• Develop procurement strategies and RFP packages.
• Manage bidder communications and supplier qualification.
• Evaluate proposals and prepare award recommendations.
• Lead commercial negotiations for EPC and related agreements.
• Mentor junior team members.
