Job summary

Heelstone Renewable Energy, a Durham-based developer of solar, wind, and storage projects, seeks a Sr. EPC Procurement Manager to lead its procurement function across the U.S.

You will shape supplier strategy, oversee a growing team, and partner with executive leadership to control costs and ensure on-time delivery. The role requires 10+ years in procurement with solar/BESS experience, strong negotiation and leadership, and the ability to manage complex contracts and risk across a multi-project

Qualifications

• 10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience
• 5+ years in a leadership/management role
• Experience procuring equipment/services for utility-scale solar/BESS
• Strong knowledge of North American power market
• Proven track record in complex supplier relationships

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement/supply chain strategy aligned with growth
• Build, lead, and develop the procurement team
• Establish procurement policies and controls
• Own supplier relationships and source new supply
• Lead negotiation of MSAs, framework agreements, and major contracts
• Oversee competitive bid processes and vendor performance
• Prepare contract documents with Legal/Engineering/Operations
• Mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
• Monitor procurement budgets and KPIs
• Support project acquisitions and due diligence
• Escalation resolution across multiple projects
