Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, EPC Procurement to lead end-to-end EPC contracting across wind, solar and battery storage portfolios. This role reports to the Director, EPC Procurement and guides market engagement, RFP development, bid evaluation, negotiations and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Manager: 3-5 years EPC contracting/negotiation experience, plus 2+ years of management experience.
• Senior Manager: 6-8+ years of relevant experience, plus 4+ years of management experience.
• Project management, contracting, and negotiation experience with large-scale wind, solar, or battery storage development projects preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director, Procurement, in achieving the team’s mission and objectives with best-in-class sourcing strategy.
• Orchestrate competitive RFx bidding and contracting efforts for EPC contracts across cross-functional teams.
• Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance reviews to assess risks and opportunities.
• Oversee bid levelization to evaluate cost variances and key cost drivers during negotiations.
• Lead negotiations to mitigate cost/schedule risks and align with Clearway policies.
• Ensure risk mitigation across major project agreements (TSA, Service Maintenance, PPA, EPC, Warranty).
• Review scope of supply/work to avoid gaps and optimize interfaces among parties.
• Strengthen strategic relationships with EPC partners and drive MOUs and milestones.
• Interface with EPC Contractors for market intelligence on trends, tariffs, policy changes.
• Develop bidding strategies and qualify bidders; engage cross-functional teams regularly.
