Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager, EPC Procurement, to lead end-to-end EPC contracting across wind, solar and battery storage projects. You will drive market engagement, RFP development, bid evaluation and commercial negotiations, ensuring contract structures allocate cost, schedule and performance risks.

This hybrid role reports to the Director, EPC Procurement and requires collaboration with Development, Engineering, Legal and Finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Manager level requires 3–5 years EPC contracting/negotiation experience plus 2+ years of management experience.
• Senior Manager requires 6–8+ years experience plus 4+ years of management experience.
• Experience with large-scale wind, solar, or battery storage projects preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong contract language understanding.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support the Director, Procurement, in developing a best-in-class wind EPC sourcing strategy.
• Orchestrate competitive RFx bidding and contracting with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance assessments.
• Lead bid levelization and track cost movements during negotiations.
• Negotiate contracts aligning with Clearway policies and mitigate risks.
• Ensure alignment across major project agreements (TSA, Service Maintenance, PPA, EPC).
• Coordinate with Engineering to gather specs and scopes of work.
• Build strong internal and external partnerships with EPC partners.
• Gather market intelligence on trends, tariff impacts and policy changes.
• Develop bidding strategies and bidder qualification.
• Engage cross-functional teams on Wind EPC contracts.
