Job summary

Invenergy LLC, a leading North American developer and operator of renewable energy assets, seeks a Principal Project Manager for Construction Contracts. Based in a hybrid role, you will lead complex EPC contracting strategies and serve as a senior technical authority on commercial risk and contract terms.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, legal, and project controls to structure, negotiate, and execute high-value contracts, while mentoring teams and improving contracting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, legal, or related field.
• 12+ years in project management, construction, procurement, legal, or contracting for large-scale projects.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing complex EPC/construction contracts.
• Ability to lead high-value contract negotiations and advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, preparation, negotiation, and execution of EPC and other construction contracts for renewable energy projects.
• Provide senior technical authority on contract structure, risk control, scope alignment, and terms.
• Ensure standard contracting documents are used consistently in RFPs and EPCs.
• Advise on portfolio-level risk management and deviations, and guide resolution paths.
• Collaborate across engineering, procurement, legal, safety, environment, and finance teams.
