Job summary

Invenergy, LLC is seeking a Principal Project Manager, Construction Contracts to serve as the senior technical authority on EPC and other complex construction contracts for its renewable energy portfolio. You will lead contracting strategy, negotiate agreements, and ensure standard documents are used across RFPs and EPC contracts.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, legal, safety, finance, and development teams, mentor contract professionals, and provide executive-level reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, legal, or related technical discipline.
• 12+ years of professional experience in project management, construction, procurement, legal, and/or contracting.
• Experience leading high-value, high-risk contract negotiations and advising senior stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead the contracting strategy, preparation, negotiation, and execution of multiple EPC and other construction-related agreements for complex projects.
• Advise project management and senior leadership on portfolio-level risk management strategies, contract deviations, and resolution paths.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with EPC contractors and external partners; lead complex commercial discussions.
• Develop contracting standards, templates, and processes to reduce risk and minimize execution time.
