Job summary

CMC is seeking a Contracts Manager to provide commercial and contractual support for EPC projects. You will interpret contracts, manage change orders, assess risks, and help protect project outcomes through structured governance and documentation.

Collaborating with project teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and legal, you will ensure compliant, timely, and fair contract administration. This role emphasizes risk mitigation and effective communication.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing EPC, EPCM, major construction contracts.
• Strong background in change order management, contract compliance, claims prevention, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience supporting large capital projects in power generation, industrial, oil & gas, LNG, or similar sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with project leadership and contractors to resolve commercial issues.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, and contract administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert commercial and contractual advice on EPC agreements and interpretations.
• Review, validate, negotiate, and document change orders and potential claims.
• Ensure all correspondence and notices comply with contract requirements.
• Advise on entitlements, risk allocations, schedule and cost impacts, and change strategies.
• Coordinate review, routing, approval, and execution of change orders and amendments.
• Support commercial negotiations with EPC contractors and suppliers to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with project management, controls, engineering, construction, legal, and supply chain.
• Maintain up-to-date commercial documentation and track contractual obligations.
