Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead complex EPC and large-scale projects from Indianapolis, IN. You will oversee contract management, risk assessment, and entitlement strategies while coordinating with project leadership and legal teams.

The role emphasizes proactive change management, cost recovery, and negotiations with clients and subcontractors to keep projects on schedule and on budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in law, engineering, construction management or related field.
• 10+ years of construction contract management on large projects ($150M–$250M range).
• Experience with contract negotiations with owners, subs, suppliers, and JV partners.
• Experience in EPC, design-build, renewables, transmission, or heavy civil projects.
• CCM/CPCM/PMP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for complex contractual and commercial issues.
• Present commercial risk assessments to executive leadership.
• Develop and maintain relationships with project leadership teams.
• Identify potential changes and prepare mitigation plans ahead of issues.
