Job summary

MasTec Renewables, comprising Wanzek Construction, IEA Constructors, and White Construction, seeks an Estimating Manager to lead large EPC estimates. You will set estimating strategies, define scope, assess risks, and deliver high-quality packages, coordinating a multi‑pursuit team.

Based onsite in multiple locations, the role collaborates with project management, operations, engineering, procurement, and leadership to ensure on-time, competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Drafting & Estimating, or equivalent experience
• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience leading bids on a regular basis
• Experience coordinating estimating resources and working within bid schedules
• Experience supporting contract negotiations and proposal development
• Experience working with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid package to final review
• Coordinate Estimator resources across bids to ensure timely, accurate development
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal estimating standards
• Present estimates clearly for transfer to execution teams
• Provide training and mentoring to junior estimators
• Attend pre-bid meetings and perform site visits as needed

Education
