Job summary

MasTec Renewables is seeking an Estimating Manager (Solar) to lead large EPC estimates and coordinate a team across multiple pursuits. This onsite role can be based in Fargo, Indianapolis, Clinton, Centennial, or Phoenix and reports to senior estimating leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering or construction related field.
• Seven+ years of construction estimating and/or project management experience.
• Experience leading bids on a regular basis.
• Experience coordinating estimating resources within bid schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptual, budgetary, and competitive EPC estimates for large projects from bid receipt to final review.
• Serve as Lead Estimator on pursuits, defining scope, risks, and deliverables.
• Coordinate Estimator I–III resources to ensure timely, accurate estimates.
• Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and internal estimating standards.
• Organize and present estimates so labor, equipment, and material assumptions are clear for execution teams.
• Participate in bid reviews, turnover meetings, and training of junior staff.
