Job summary

MasTec Renewables in the Indianapolis area seeks a senior contract manager to lead complex EPC contract administration across large projects. You will identify risks, draft notices, and coordinate change orders with Commercial and Legal teams to ensure compliance and timely project delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in construction contract management, experience with EPC/renewable projects, and strong CPM and claims experience. Travel 3-4 days weekly to Indiana projects is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in law, engineering, construction management or relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of recent experience in construction contract management on large and complex construction projects in the $150MM to $250MM range.
• Three+ years of recent experience in using construction management software.
• Experience in EPC, design-build, renewable energy, transmission, power generation, industrial, or heavy civil projects.
• Experience managing commercial risk across multiple concurrent projects.
• CCM, CPCM, or PMP preferred; MRICS preferred; AACE/PSP delay analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert for complex contractual and commercial issues.
• Present commercial risk assessments and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Establish relationships with the various project operational leadership teams.
• Proactively identify potential changes and prepare forward-looking analysis and conceptual mitigation plans.
• Interface directly with clients on contractual matters.
• Experience developing and executing comprehensive claims and entitlement strategies on EPC and large infrastructure projects.
• Experience preparing, evaluating, and negotiating change orders, delay claims, disruption claims, and cost recovery initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience with schedule-driven claims, critical path methodology (CPM), and delay analysis techniques.
