CDM Smith in the United States seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects. This role focuses on regulatory compliance for federal, state, and local environmental efforts within CDM Smith’s Environmental Services Group.

You will conduct site investigations and risk assessments, develop DQOs/QAPPs/SAPs, collaborate across disciplines, guide junior staff, and support client interactions.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline; professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in Science or related discipline.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Supports site investigations and analysis for human health risk assessments (HHRA) and ecological risk assessments (ERA).
• Develops data quality objectives (DQOs), QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Prepares CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs of varying complexity.
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists for project approaches.
