GHD is seeking a Senior Project Manager for its FIRST program to lead environmental emergency response, investigation, remediation, and preparedness projects across North America. You will manage client relationships, guide multidisciplinary teams, and drive business development for private-sector clients in rail, pipeline, energy, and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

5+ years of consulting project management experience in environmental projects.
Experience managing environmental remediation and assessment projects under regulatory programs.
Experience serving private-sector industrial clients (rail, pipeline, energy, chemical, manufacturing).

Responsibilities

Manage environmental assessment, remediation, restoration, compliance, and emergency response projects from proposal through completion.
Serve as primary contact for industrial/private-sector clients during emergency response and remediation activities.
Lead all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, invoicing, reporting, and client communication.
Develop project strategies, scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical work plans aligning with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams including remediation specialists, industrial hygienists, toxicologists, risk assessors, engineers, GIS professionals, and construction managers.
Support regulatory engagement, site closure strategies, and long-term environmental liability management.
