Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead delivery for multiple projects in the western US, with values up to $250M each. You will oversee budget plans, schedules, and procurement efforts, ensuring on‑time completion and compliance with regulations, while guiding client relationships and knowledge sharing.

The role requires 15 years of experience in construction management or resident engineering, with CCM certification or PE a plus, and experience with web‑based document management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 15 years as a Construction Manager and/or Resident Engineer on multiple simultaneous projects.
• CCM certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus.
• Experience with web‑based document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction management for environmental, civil, and decommissioning projects for key oil and gas clients in the US West Region.
• Develop and manage budget plans and schedules; monitor budget progress and post‑calculations.
• Design and create reporting strategies and templates; lead complex report execution and communicate findings to client teams.
• Collaborate on project development; lead procurement efforts including proposal and interview preparation.
• Provide specialist advice on regulations, constructability, cost evaluations, and sequencing.
• Develop knowledge management; create policies, case studies, and internal knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Maintain external accreditations and stay current with regulations and best practices.
