Job summary

Environmental Resources Management (ERM) is seeking a Managing Consultant, Engineer/Geologist/Scientist Project Manager to join our Liability Portfolio Management & Remediation team in Ewing, NJ. This role leads complex site investigations and remediation initiatives for diverse industries, mentoring junior staff and driving client value.

We expect a strong background in CERCLA/RCRA/state programs, regulatory compliance, and technical writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or related discipline (Master's preferred) or equivalent experience.
• PE or PG license in NJ or reciprocity required or preferred.
• New Jersey LSRP license (active) required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects for clients across manufacturing, power, chemical, oil & gas, and technology sectors.
• Plan and oversee field activities including sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and remedial construction.
• Analyze environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans.
• Design and implement remediation strategies using traditional and emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical experts to deliver exceptional client value.
• Prepare winning proposals and actively participate in business development.
• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
