Job summary

Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) seeks a Managing Technical Consultant, Engineer/Geologist/Scientist Project Manager to lead complex site investigations, remediation programs, and client advisory across industries from its Ewing, NJ operations.

You'll mentor staff, manage CERCLA/RCRA/state programs, and drive safety and sustainability while building strong client relationships and pursuing new business opportunities in a dynamic consultancy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, or related discipline (Master's preferred).
• 6+ years progressive experience in site investigation and remediation, NJ experience preferred.
• PE or PG license in NJ or reciprocity.
• LSRP active in NJ.
• Proven project management skills with CERCLA/RCRA/state programs.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER cert. and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute complex site investigations, risk assessments, and remediation projects for clients in manufacturing, power, chemical, oil & gas, and technology sectors.
• Plan and oversee field activities including sampling, drilling, well installation, vapor intrusion assessments, and remedial construction.
• Analyze environmental data, develop conceptual site models, and prepare technical reports and work plans.
• Design and implement remediation strategies using traditional and emerging technologies.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with technical experts to deliver client value.
• Prepare winning proposals and actively participate in business development.
• Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
