Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental investigation, remediation, and permitting projects in Ohio. You will serve as a trusted technical resource, ensuring regulatory compliance and guiding complex sites toward closure.

This role combines technical expertise with project leadership, client partnership, and team development to protect people and the environment while delivering safe, responsible results for communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of environmental experience, BUSTR site work.
• Strong knowledge of BUSTR rules and regulatory coordination.
• Experience leading and mentoring staff.
• Commitment to health, safety, and quality documentation.
• Proficient report-writing, organization, and client communication.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead BUSTR environmental site investigation, remediation, permitting, and construction-support projects.
• Prepare advanced BUSTR deliverables and site-specific target levels.
• Guide clients through local, state, and federal environmental requirements.
• Manage project scope, milestones, deadlines, and site closure progress.
• Review technical reports for accuracy and clarity before submission.
• Mentor and develop project teams and client relations.
