Job summary

Atlas is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead subsurface investigations, retail petroleum, due diligence, and remediation projects across Texas. You will guide projects from proposal through completion, helping clients understand environmental conditions, meet regulatory requirements, and make informed decisions.

Role requires strong technical writing, client management, and safety leadership to deliver high-quality, compliant results.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, geology, engineering or related field.
Five+ years in environmental consulting with project management, fieldwork, data evaluation, and reporting.
ASTM E1527 Environmental Professional qualification.
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training and annual 8-hour refresher.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day operations for Phase II due diligence, retail petroleum subsurface investigation, and remediation projects across Texas.
Develop new clients and expand services with local management.
Participate in professional and technical organizations.
Prepare or review reports with data compilation, reduction, interpretation, and regulatory comparison.
Interact with clients, service partners, and contractors.
Promote a safety-first culture and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with team toward client-centric, high-quality deliverables.
Prepare reports with data analyses and conclusions for stakeholders.
Participate in client calls to discuss findings for non-technical audiences.
Work with local and national management in field and office settings.
