Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking an Environmental Senior Project Manager in Ohio to lead environmental consulting projects from proposal through closeout. You will provide technical leadership, oversee scheduling, budgeting, and client communication, while mentoring staff and ensuring safety and profitability in accordance with ECS standards.

The role requires 5 years of related experience, relevant degree(s), and the ability to obtain a local license within three months.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's of Science in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Natural or Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• Must obtain local license through reciprocity within three months of hire date.
• Additional licensure or certifications may be required depending on work performed.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental principles, regulations, and consulting practices.

Responsibilities

• Manages asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality projects.
• Oversees remediation and abatement activities.
• Leads client meetings and communicates findings and recommendations.
• Directs subcontractors and technical field personnel.
• Manages project budgets, profitability, invoicing, and collections.
• Reviews and approves project change orders and budgeting adjustments.
• Oversees multiple projects simultaneously and ensures successful execution.
