Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Environmental to lead environmental/engineering projects in Parsippany, NJ. You will supervise field investigations, perform analyses, manage proposals, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to restore and redevelop sites while protecting the environment.

You will oversee staff, interface with clients, and help identify new business opportunities, with regular travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of practical experience with environmental investigations and remediation.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for portions of engineering and environmental projects;
• Identify and pursue new clients, develop additional work, and attend business development meetings.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff for Environmental projects; coach, train, and motivate.
• Supervise field activities and ensure correct data collection and lab analyses; manage budget and schedule.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines; prepare progress reports and invoices.
• Edit and organize reports, proposals, and other documents; draft changes as needed.
• Coordinate with other work groups across offices and disciplines as needed.
• Interface professionally with clients, contractors, staff, and project personnel.
