Job summary

Apex Companies, LLC. is seeking a dynamic Environmental Principal to lead and grow our environmental practice.

You will serve as a senior technical advisor, helping clients navigate complex environmental challenges and delivering high-value solutions. You will mentor staff, expand client relationships, and drive the continued success of our environmental services team, while traveling to client locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in environmental consulting or related field with progressive leadership.
• BS in Geology, Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Licensed Professional Geologist or Engineer qualification.
• Established client relationships within the region or with national clients.
• Strong communication, negotiation and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand long-term client relationships as a trusted advisor.
• Provide SME, lead QA/QC efforts, and mentor teams for technical excellence.
• Manage project performance focusing on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
• Travel to client locations as needed for meetings and project development.
