Apex Companies is seeking an Environmental Principal to lead as a senior technical advisor, mentoring staff and expanding client relationships across our environmental practice.

The role combines technical excellence with business leadership, advancing projects in Environmental Compliance, Site Investigation, and Due Diligence while traveling to client sites as needed. Must have licensure and 10+ years’ experience; hybrid work in CA possible.

Qualifications

• Ten-plus years in environmental consulting or related leadership roles.
• Effective communicator with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Strong background in Environmental Compliance, Site Investigation/Remediation, or related fields.
• Licensed Geologist or Engineer with regional/networked client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Mentor staff and expand Apex's environmental practice through technical leadership.
• Lead client development, maintain long-term relationships, and promote client satisfaction.
• Oversee QA/QC efforts, ensure high-quality project delivery and innovative solutions.
• Travel to client locations as needed for meetings and project development.
