Apex Companies is seeking a dynamic Environmental Principal to lead our environmental practice from California. This hybrid role, based in Thousand Oaks, Pleasant Hill, or Signal Hill, combines senior technical advisory duties with business leadership, mentoring staff, expanding client relationships, and driving high-value solutions.

You will bring 10+ years of environmental consulting, a BS in Geology or Engineering, P.G. or E.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental consulting or industry experience with progressive responsibility and leadership.
• BS in Geology or Engineering, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or other related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Licensure as Professional Geologist or Engineer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and expand long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Provide SME, lead QA/QC efforts, and mentor project teams to promote technical excellence.
• Manage project performance with a focus on quality, innovation, and client satisfaction.
• Travel to client locations as needed for meetings and project development.
