Job summary

Broward County seeks an experienced Program/Project Coordinator, Senior to advance environmental policy, resilience, and energy initiatives. You will lead policy coordination, advocacy, and regional partnerships while overseeing research, grants, procurement and contract management.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to drive complex programs with diverse stakeholders across state and federal partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, environmental planning/science or closely related field.
• Four years of experience managing programs or projects with county-wide impact.
• Experience with policy development, grants, procurement and contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, implements, supervises and evaluates programs with county-wide impact.
• Coordinates and manages all aspects of large programs with significant budgets.
• Researches issues, drafts memorandums and reports, and monitors policy compliance.
• Develops advocacy plans and coordinates with state, regional and local partners.
• Supports department leadership with outreach, communications and staff training.
