Parsons is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner to join our environmental team in the East Central region, with a focus on Indiana-based transportation projects. You will expand leadership responsibilities, mentor junior staff, and contribute to client service and project execution in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

The role requires five or more years of experience in environmental planning, strong NEPA expertise, and proficiency with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Relevant professional certifications are desirable, but not required.
• Previous consulting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental planning and NEPA documentation for East Central region projects, Indiana-focused.
• Apply NEPA guidelines to regional roadway and highway projects.
• Support data collection, corridor studies, and report writing.
• Mentor junior staff and support client service and project delivery.
