LVI Associates is seeking an experienced Environmental Planner to support NEPA/SEPA documentation, permitting, and regulatory coordination for transportation and infrastructure projects in the Southeast and beyond. You will collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, Planning, Geography, Natural Resources, or a related field.
• 7+ years of environmental planning, permitting, transportation, or infrastructure consulting experience.
• Minimum 3 years of task management or project leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, SEPA, and environmental permitting processes.
• Experience supporting U.S. Department of Transportation-related projects.
• Strong technical writing, environmental documentation, and report preparation skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams and regulatory agencies.
• Basic GIS experience including mapping, spatial analysis, and environmental data visualization.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare NEPA/SEPA documentation and regulatory compliance for transportation projects.
• Coordinate permitting with DOTs, USACE, EPA, NOAA, NPS, USFS, Coast Guard, and others.
• Conduct environmental studies, impact assessments, and analyses for transportation projects.
• Support highway, roadway, rail, airport, transit, port and waterfront projects.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental documents, permit applications, graphics, and materials.
• QA/QC reviews of environmental documents and planning reports.
• Coordinate with clients, regulators, engineers, scientists, and stakeholders.
• Travel throughout NC and the Southeast for project delivery.
