Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to lead diverse teams in environmental permitting across rail, renewable energy, oil and gas, and utilities. You will develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to ensure successful outcomes, while delivering senior‑level QA/QC for agency consultations and permit applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, civil engineering, biology, ecology, geology, or similar environmental discipline.
• Seven years of total experience in environmental fields; five years managing environmental permitting projects.
• Experience coordinating with Midwest federal, state, and local natural resource permitting agencies.
• Ability to lead project delivery with strong communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse teams of scientists, engineers, and planners to execute environmental permitting projects.
• Develop permitting strategies and coordinate with clients to achieve successful outcomes.
• Provide senior level QA/QC for client deliverables and manage agency consultations and permit applications.
• Coordinate additional project services such as stormwater, erosion control, cultural resources, and floodplain assessments.
• Serve as client contact and oversee technical, commercial, and financial performance of projects.
