Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Principal Environmental Planning Project Manager to lead environmental planning, permitting, siting, and project management across Texas and the Gulf Coast. You will drive client development and oversee multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex environmental projects including CCUS, data centers, and energy infrastructure.

You will engage with regulators, manage regulatory filings (NEPA, CWA, ESA, CCN), ensure compliance, and mentor junior staff while delivering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, biology, ecology, urban planning, engineering, or similar discipline.
  • 10+ years of experience managing environmental planning, permitting, siting, and/or energy projects in Texas and the Gulf Region.
  • Extensive experience with NEPA, CWA, ESA, and CCN filings for PUCT.
  • Demonstrated expertise in environmental planning and permitting for energy infrastructure, data centers, and/or CCUS projects.
  • Strong technical writing, strategic problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop permitting strategies and manage regulatory processes to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Drive growth through client development and manage client relationships.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including biologists, engineers, archaeologists and planners.
  • Oversee project delivery within schedule and budget constraints.
  • Provide senior QA/QC for client deliverables and regulatory filings.
  • Build and maintain client relationships and lead pursuits including proposal development and cost estimation.
