Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to find a Senior Environmental Practitioner based in the United States. You will lead environmental planning studies, assessments, and permitting, working with public and private sector clients, Indigenous communities, and technical teams.

The role blends technical leadership with business development and staff mentoring. You will oversee multidisciplinary project delivery, drive proposals, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance and

Qualifications

Leadership in environmental planning studies and management programs.
Experience with environmental impact assessments and permitting at provincial/federal levels.
Strong project management, coordination, and delivery against deadlines.
Experience building client relationships and pursuing opportunities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including technical reporting.

Responsibilities

Lead scoping, development, and execution of environmental planning studies and management programs.
Support permit applications and environmental compliance across levels of government.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction.
Develop proposals and contribute to budgets and client relations.
Mentor and coach junior staff and contribute to staff development.
