Job summary

WSB and Associates seeks a Senior Environmental Manager to leadCERCLA/RCRA projects, oversee investigations, feasibility studies, and remediation actions. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, develop scopes, schedules, and budgets while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality reporting.

You will mentor staff, pursue new business opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Health, or related; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of environmental consulting or regulatory experience with increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing CERCLA, Brownfields, environmental investigation/remediation.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, Brownfields, and related regulatory programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing scopes, schedules, budgets, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for CERCLA, RCRA and related projects.
• Manage site characterization, remediation studies, risk assessments, designs, and regulatory submittals.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and work plans.
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submittals with QA/QC.
• Review deliverables for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support client reviews of documents related to sampling, monitoring, and remediation.
• Coordinate with scientists, geologists, engineers, risk assessors and subcontractors.
• Analyze environmental data to develop defensible solutions.
