Job summary

WSP is actively seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineer for our Atlanta area offices. This role leads site investigations, remediation design, and technical reporting within the Site Assessment and Remediation Team of Earth & Environment.

You will manage projects, coordinate field activities, and guide junior staff while ensuring compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, and NCP guidelines. Travel and fieldwork are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in environmental engineering with GA P.E. or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years of environmental project experience including proposal writing and client contact.
• In-depth knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA regulations and NCP requirements.
• Experience in site investigations, remediation and field drilling methods.
• OSHA HAZWOPER certification and ongoing refresher training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in environmental projects from field studies to technical reporting.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and procurement; coordinate equipment and materials.
• Develop conceptual site models and remediation strategies for CERCLA/RCRA.
• Prepare complex data visualizations and interpret geologic and hydrogeologic data.
• Interface with clients, regulators, contractors, and stakeholders.
