Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Environmental Engineer in the Atlanta area to lead environmental projects within our Earth & Environment practice. You will manage field studies, prepare technical reports, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to develop remediation strategies under CERCLA and RCRA.

Ideal candidates bring deep regulatory knowledge, 10+ years of project experience, and a PE license or ability to obtain one, with strong QA/QC and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering; GA PE license or ability to obtain license.
• 10+ years environmental project experience including proposal writing and client contact.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA compliance requirements.
• Experience with site investigations and remediation of environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver environmental reports for CERCLA/RCRA-regulated projects.
• Lead environmental site investigations and remediation strategy development.
• Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, and field equipment.
• Coordinate data collection from soil, groundwater, and other media.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure QA/QC.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
