Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Technical Manager, Geologist with CERCLA and RCRA experience for our Atlanta area offices. You will lead and participate in environmental projects, manage field studies, report preparation, and coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders.

The role involves developing site investigations, remediation strategies, QA/QC, with travel as needed and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Leadership and mentorship for junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field; Master’s is a plus.
• GA P.G. licensure or ability to obtain license is required.
• 10+ years environmental project experience with proposal writing and client interaction.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA; experience with site investigations.
• Experience with groundwater and soil sampling, drilling methods, and QA/QC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in environmental projects under CERCLA/RCRA.
• Develop technical reports, data analyses, and conceptual site models.
• Manage proposals, budgets, schedules, and vendor coordination.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and ensure QA/QC adherence.
• Interact with clients, regulators, contractors, and stakeholders.
