Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Senior Lead Consultant, Environmental Engineering to deliver innovative and sustainable site solutions for an international client base. You will join an interdisciplinary team and contribute across project phases from investigation to remediation, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

You will lead and mentor engineers, coordinate with geologists and scientists, and manage scope, schedule, and budgets in a hybrid role across New York, New Jersey, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with 6+ years of experience.
• PE license or eligibility and a valid driver's license.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER completion and 8-hour refresher.
• Strong health and safety focus with remediation experience.
• Knowledge of NYSDEC/PADEP and federal regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks under RCRA and CERCLA programs for investigations and designs.
• Support remediation of soils, sediments, surface water, and groundwater with various remedies.
• Develop and finalize technical documents per regulatory requirements.
• Help plan, scope, and implement sampling and field tasks.
• Serve as task manager, mentor Early-Career Engineers and manage budgets/schedules.
• Interact with clients and collaborate with Engineers, Geologists, and Scientists.
