Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a senior Environmental Engineer to lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across NJ, PA, and NY metropolitan areas. This hybrid role combines project leadership, regulatory navigation, and hands-on field oversight to deliver compliant, data-driven remediation strategies.

The candidate will manage investigations, remedial designs, and client communications while guiding junior staff and coordinating with regulators to meet project goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil, Environmental, Geoenvironmental, or Chemical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant environmental engineering experience.
• Possession or progress toward PE and/or LSRP license.
• Experience with NJDEP regulations (ISRA, TRSR, ARRCS) and related agencies/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and remediation strategies for RI/FS/Remedial designs.
• Oversee field programs, data evaluation, and regulatory reporting.
• Mentor junior staff and manage scopes, schedules, budgets.
• Coordinate with clients and regulators to develop practical solutions.
