Job summary

Ramboll is seeking a Senior Lead Consultant, Environmental Engineering to join our Environment & Health team in the New York or Pennsylvania offices. This hybrid-based role supports environmental investigation and remediation projects for a global client base.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of Civil or Environmental Engineering experience, is eligible for a PE license, and can manage technical and financial aspects of large projects with mentorship to early-career engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant Environmental Engineering experience
• Possession or interest in obtaining a PE license
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour refresher
• Strong health & safety commitment and remediation tech knowledge
• Knowledge of state & federal regulations is a plus

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering tasks under RCRA and CERCLA programs (Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs, Actions, post-remediation monitoring)
• Support remediation of contaminated soils, sediments, surface water and groundwater
• Prepare technical documents (regulatory reports, work plans, designs, permits, health & safety plans)
• Develop scopes of work, plan tasks, and monitor progress including budgets
• Lead/mentor Early-Career Engineers and coordinate project execution strategies
• Collaborate with Engineers, Geologists and Scientists and engage with clients
