Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead remediation and environmental investigation projects across the NJ/PA/NY region. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate client communications with regulatory authorities.

The role requires strong technical judgment, proficiency in project management, and the ability to deliver compliant, high-quality environmental solutions in a hybrid office setting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Mentorship of junior/mid-level engineers.
• Strong communication with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead/oversee engineering tasks for Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Remedial Designs/Actions, and OM&M; oversee Pre-Design Investigations/remediation.
• Provide engineering support for contaminated soil, sediment, surface water, and groundwater remediation.
• Oversee documentation, track scope/schedule/budget, develop scopes of work and cost estimates, invoicing and closeout.
• Serve as technical client/stakeholder contact; communicate findings and project status; collaborate with LSRPs/technical leads.
• Coordinate development of technical/regulatory documents (reports, work plans, designs, permits) under regulatory requirements.
