Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in natural sciences or related field required.
• Professional Sanitarian License required.
• Texas Driver's License is required.
• Pesticide applicator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of Environmental Health Division to ensure effective, customer-focused service.
• Supervise Environmental Health staff and provide technical guidance.
• Advise managers, contractors, school officials, and HOAs on Environmental Health matters.
• Develop and administer departmental budget with the Health Director.
• Coordinate with other City Departments on environmental incidents and inspections.
• Manage food service, childcare, pool, and FOG inspection programs.
• Lead strategic planning for program improvements and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain compliance with safety procedures and protective equipment.
