Job summary

Roux in Kentucky is seeking an experienced environmental project manager to lead complex investigation and remediation projects. You will guide technical staff, manage client relationships, coordinate field activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role blends project leadership with hands-on analysis, budget oversight, and growth of junior professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Professional certification (P.G./LSP/LSRP/CIH/CSP, etc.), or equivalent experience with a licensed professional.
• Senior-level interpretation, including remedial cost estimates and future remedial measures costing.
• Experience designing and managing site/remedial investigation activities and hydrogeologic interpretation.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Ability to mentor and grow staff.

Responsibilities

• Project management: scheduling and coordination of project resources to meet client and organizational needs.
• Ensure task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing align with standards and client requirements.
• Technical data review and report preparation: QC for data collection and interpretation for project requirements.
• Proposal preparation and business development: assist with proposals, cost estimates, and marketing activities.
• Staff mentoring and training: develop junior staff and grow as a consultant and firm leader.
