Job summary

Roux Consulting is seeking a Senior Geologist/Scientist I to provide project management and technical leadership for environmental investigation and remediation projects. The role includes developing staff and coordinating with clients and regulators, with a focus on delivering high-quality investigations and reports.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of environmental consulting experience, along with professional certifications or equivalent hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 7 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Holds professional certification as applicable (P.G./LSP/LSRP/CIH/CSP, etc.), or absence of certification with 7 years working with a licensed professional.
• Proficient in senior-level interpretation including remedial cost estimates and future remediation measures.

Responsibilities

• Project management and technical leadership of environmental investigation and remediation projects.
• Assist in development of technical staff for client and organizational needs.
• Design and manage site/remedial investigation activities and develop conceptual site models.
• Coordinate data review and report preparation for project principals.
• Support proposals, cost estimates, and marketing activities.
• Mentor and train junior staff to grow as consultants and leaders.
