Job summary

Roux Consulting seeks a Senior Geologist / Scientist I to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects, while developing technical staff. The role includes managing schedules, budgets, and client invoicing, and coordinating data review and reporting.

The candidate will provide senior interpretation, cost estimates, and conceptual site modeling, with a focus on WDNR regulations and regulatory interactions. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years environmental consulting experience.
• P.G. certification or equivalent experience with a licensed professional.
• Experience with WDNR regulations and permitting processes.
• Strong data interpretation and remedial cost estimation skills.
• Experience designing site/remedial investigations and conceptual site models.
• Proven project management and client interaction abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects including scheduling and coordination of resources to meet client needs.
• Coordinate data collection, QC, and reporting; finalize remediation recommendations.
• Assist with proposals, cost estimates, and marketing activities.
• Mentor and train junior staff to grow as consultants and leaders.
