Roux in Rochester, NY is seeking an environmental professional to design and implement technical services that meet client and project management needs. The role includes field and office tasks, plus providing project management support for traditional assessment and remediation projects.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field and at least 4 years in environmental consulting with demonstrated progression in site investigation/remediation and task management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field.
• 4+ years in environmental consulting with progression in site investigation/remediation and task management.
• Experience designing field programs and managing projects and related field activities (scheduling, coordinating tasks, budgeting, subcontractor management).
• Experience planning, coordinating, and managing Site/Remedial Investigation field activities and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Field Coordination and Management: set up work plans, supervise field activities, coordinate field personnel and activities to implement project plans; may include field activity implementation.
• Technical Data Review and Report Preparation: collect and review project data, interpret data, develop and finalize a report documenting findings and remediation recommendations.
• Project Management: monitor and review task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing to meet company standards and client requirements.
• Staff Mentoring and Training: participate in developing junior staff and grow as a consultant and leader.
