Roux in New York area seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental investigation and remediation projects and to mentor technical staff for growth. The role combines project leadership with hands-on design and data interpretation to meet client needs.

Responsibilities include managing schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients and regulators, and supporting business development and staff development initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Minimum 7 years environmental consulting experience.
• P.E. certification or, if absent, 7 years working with a licensed professional.
• Proficient in senior level interpretation including remedial cost estimates and future remedial measures costing.
• Experience in conceptual and detailed remedial design work.
• Demonstrated project management skills.
• Advanced data evaluation and analytical skills.
• Proficient written and verbal communication and client/regulatory interaction.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: scheduling and coordination of project resources to meet client and organizational needs.
• Ensure task schedules, budgets, and client invoicing align with standards and requirements to complete projects.
• Technical Data Review and Report Preparation: coordinate data collection and review results, document findings and remediation recommendations.
• Proposal Preparation and Business Development: assist with proposals, cost estimates, and marketing activities.
• Staff Mentoring and Training: develop junior staff and foster growth within the firm.

Education
