ERM in Charleston, West Virginia is seeking a Senior Consultant, Geologist/Engineer to support site investigations, remediation, and environmental compliance across challenging projects. You will work with top technical experts, contribute to innovation, and travel as needed while growing your professional capabilities.

Requirements include a geology/environmental science degree and 3+ years of field experience, OSHA HAZWOPER, and strong written/verbal communication.

Competenze

Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology, engineering, environmental science, or related field.
3+ years of environmental field experience including reporting and safety training.
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.
Ability to perform full-day field work including lifting at least 40 pounds.
Strong written and verbal communication to document technical data.

Mansioni

Conduct field activities including soil, groundwater, soil vapor, indoor air sampling.
Oversee subcontractors and assist with remediation and construction management.
Perform Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transfer support.
Compile, evaluate, and interpret environmental data and assist with technical reports.
Prepare environmental compliance plans, permits, and remediation-related documentation.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Deliver within established quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, clients, and site tenants during fieldwork.
