CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Engineer focused on water systems to join our team. You will contribute to design, implementation, and optimization of water treatment solutions that protect resources and promote sustainable water management.

You will work on projects to improve water quality, system efficiency, and compliance, mentoring staff and collaborating on proposals and client meetings throughout project lifecycles.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license is required.
• 7 years of related experience is expected.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and design water infrastructure, including conveyance and treatment.
• Coordinate design phases from preliminary to start-up; lead technical aspects.
• Develop technical papers and present at professional conferences.
• Mentor junior staff and review technical work per QA/QC guidelines.
• Collaborate with sales to respond to RFPs with regulatory compliance focus.
• Engage with clients to review needs and monitor project milestones.
